Brenton Russell Sanford, 60, a resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Monday, September 5. He was the husband of Della Sanford. Born in Prince Edward Isle, Canada, he was raised and educated in Derby, CT. He attended the University of Maryland, where he played football. Mr. Sanford was a resident of Stoughton for the past 14 years after living in CT for many years. He worked doing concrete cutting and drilling for many years and was a member of the Local 22 Laborer's Union in Boston. An avid sportsman, he especially enjoyed bow-hunting and football.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Sanford is survived by his children, Joseph M., Nicole M. and Deana M. all of Stoughton, as well as his sister, Carmen of ME and his brother, Barry of CA.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, September 8 at 8 PM. Visiting Hours will be prior from 5-8 PM. Burial will be private. Donations in Brenton's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
